6 Year Quality Warranty for Dakota Storage Buildings, LLC
We at Dakota Storage Buildings value your business. Our commitment to you is that we will take responsibility for any manufacture related deficiencies and your satisfaction is our guarantee.
This is a 6 Year Top to Bottom Limited Warranty Certificate which covers your structure manufactured by Dakota Storage Buildings, LLC in Milbank, SD. This warranty is nontransferable and applies only to the original purchaser and only to the original location. Relocating the covered product by any party automatically invalidates this warranty.
This warranty will not apply to any Dakota Storage Buildings, LLC product or any part thereof which has been damaged by adverse weather conditions, earthquake, hail, wind, fire, water, flood, earth movement, accident, or other event, theft, vandalism, acts of God, or a casualty which is customarily covered by homeowners’ insurance.
When used appropriately and maintained properly, Dakota Storage Buildings, LLC guarantees that this product will remain structurally sound. Normal wear and tear, fading of exterior surfaces, and general aging, which is common of any outdoor product that is exposed to natural elements, is not covered under warranty. As with any building which is located on top of the ground, settling may occur. You also will need to periodically clean, paint, and caulk. You will also need to keep vegetation from growing around the edges of the structure which will cut off ventilation.
This is something that must always be checked into with your local municipality, county or city business officials. Most buildings require permits, especially for residents in a town or city where there are often restrictions on size, color, or placement of a building. Check out our building permits page that details how and where to go to find out what is required in your area.Building Permits

The most important part of a foundation site for a shed or garage is a perfectly level base, otherwise the shed frame may twist and opening of doors and windows will be difficult. We recommend several inches of Class 5 (road gravel) or granite fines, and for the base to be compacted.More Info
