Pick the perfect storage building then make into your dream hunting shelter.
Some of our customers have purchased sheds for the sole purpose of turning them into their ideal hunting shed. Below are five considerations for creating your own hunting shed on your property.
Proper Permits - If you are planning on turning your shed into a hunting cabin, you will need to check with your local government to attain the proper permits. Even if you are only using the shed for one night occasionally, you will need to disclose that and obtain appropriate permits.
Heating Options - After a cold day of hunting, you need a space to warm up and thaw out. It is important to research different heating options and choose what that will be safe and effective for your mini hunting cabin.
Safety - Some customers choose to have a hunting shed that they can sleep in overnight; however, others choose to simply have their shed as a storage space for their hunting gear. Either way, you will need to have a safe and secure method of storing your weapons.
Amenities - Do you want to be able to cook yourself dinner after a long day of hunting? You can find camping stoves that will even charge your phone while you cook! Creating a hunting shed is your opportunity to customize the space to make it enjoyable for you to spend time there.
Comfort - Lastly, you don’t want to forget about the importance of comfort! You can bring in cots, sleeping bags, chairs, or whatever else will make your experience comfortable so that you can back out into the woods bright and early.
